Rachel Wegrzyn

Biography

Rachel Wegrzyn is a multidisciplinary designer from Aotearoa New Zealand, based in London.

Her architectural practice is defined by minimalist, sculptural forms that create atmospheric spaces enhanced by raw natural materials. She aims to craft serene, immersive environments that connect with the surrounding landscape.

With prior experience as a Project Lead at award-winning practices Casper Mueller Kneer, Studio Boum, Monk Mackenzie Architects, and Patterson Associates, she has delivered projects across the residential, commercial, and luxury retail sectors for clients including Jil Sander, rhode, and WatchHouse. She has also contributed to the delivery of projects recognised with three awards at the prestigious World Architecture Festival.

Her art practice mirrors this approach, employing a meditative process and working exclusively in monochrome. Using her bare hands, she manipulates materials to produce textured landscapes that play on light and shadow.
